Caliente returns as AffPapa Cancun headline sponsor
- Caliente returns as Headline Sponsor of AffPapa Conference Cancun for a second year.
- The event runs November 23-25 at Cancun Center with around 600 attendees expected.
- AffPapa iGaming Awards LATAM 2026 closes the conference on November 25.
Mexican operator Caliente has renewed its Headline Sponsor deal for AffPapa Conference Cancun 2026, which returns to Cancun Center on November 23-25.
AffPapa confirmed the agreement today on October 13, making Caliente the event’s top sponsor for a second consecutive edition.
Home operator returns
AffPapa describes Caliente as Mexico’s oldest and biggest gambling brand. The operator also headlined the inaugural edition in November 2025.
AffPapa bills the Cancun show as Mexico’s first affiliate-led conference. With this renewal, the operator has now backed the event in both years.
Caliente said in a statement:
“Caliente.mx is proud to return for a second consecutive year as a sponsor of AffPapa Conference Cancun, one of Latin America’s premier iGaming events. This continued involvement reinforces the brand’s leadership and commitment to supporting the growth of the industry across the region.
“With nearly 600 attendees expected, the conference will bring together affiliates, operators, and B2B providers from a range of markets. By supporting the event once again, Caliente.mx remains closely connected to the conversations and industry leaders shaping the future of the sector.”
A bigger room
Organizers expect around 600 attendees this year. Affiliates and operators should each make up 40% of the audience, with B2B providers accounting for the remaining 20%.
That would roughly double the first edition. AffPapa reported 300 operators, affiliates and B2B providers at the 2025 conference, which featured more than 10 panel discussions and over 30 speakers.
Sessions last year covered LatAm SEO, operator-affiliate partnerships and Mexico market trends. Google also delivered a keynote on branding in online gambling.
This year’s agenda combines panel discussions with structured networking sessions designed to help attendees build connections across the region. The official hotel, Aloft Cancun, connects directly to the venue.
Several suppliers have already signed up. SPRIBE joined as Premium Sponsor in August. Nordic Partners Gaming will host an Esports Zone as Strategic Esports Partner. Mandala Beach Club will host the official pool party.
Levon Nikoghosyan, CEO and Founder of AffPapa, said:
“Caliente backed this conference when it was a new event in a new market for us, so having them return as headline sponsor in year two means a lot to the whole team. Mexico has a large affiliate community, but before last year it had no conference built around it. That was the gap we wanted to fill. With the country’s biggest operator standing behind the event again, affiliates and B2B providers have a clear reason to be in Cancun this November.”
Awards close proceedings
The AffPapa iGaming Awards LATAM 2026 ceremony takes place on the evening of November 25. The gala reaches its second edition, honoring affiliates, operators and B2B providers driving innovation in Latin America.
AffPapa’s directory lists more than 2,500 affiliates and over 300 operators, according to the company. Its flagship conference runs in Madrid, where the 2027 Madrid edition is set for May 10-12 with a target of more than 1,800 attendees.
Caliente’s renewal lands in a tougher tax climate for online operators in Mexico. The Senate approved raising the IEPS levy on online gambling to 50% from 30% in November 2025, a month after the Chamber of Deputies passed the measure.
