Who owns iGaming Republic, how we’re funded, and what that does, and doesn’t, influence.
Ownership
iGaming Republic is published by Republic Publishing Group SRL, based in Bucharest, Romania. We’re an independent, privately owned publication, not owned by, or a subsidiary of, any gambling operator, supplier, investor fund or industry trade body.
How we’re funded
Revenue comes from a combination of:
- Display advertising, clearly labelled and kept separate from editorial placement
- Paid editorial content, including guest posts, sponsored features and product spotlights, always marked as such
- Event coverage packages for advertisers
- Newsletter sponsorships, labelled in the sponsored slot
We don’t accept payment for favourable editorial coverage, source placement or pre-publication review of news articles. Our commercial and editorial teams operate separately.
What advertisers and sponsors cannot do
- Influence which stories we cover or don’t cover
- Read or amend news articles before publication
- Be excluded from critical coverage because of their ad spend
- Dictate which sources or quotes appear in an article

Editorial conflicts of interest
Our founder and editorial team don’t hold personal equity or paid positions in the operators, suppliers or affiliate networks we cover. Where a personal or financial interest in a story exists, the affected writer recuses themselves and the story is reassigned, or a clear disclosure is added to the published article.
Regulatory status
iGaming Republic is a publisher, not a gambling operator, affiliate or betting intermediary. We don’t take bets, hold gambling funds or earn commissions on wagers.
