ICONIC21 adds up to 1,000x multipliers to Hold’em
- ICONIC21 launches Gravity Poker as the latest title in its Gravity Series.
- Players face the dealer in Texas Hold’em, with AA+ and The Pocket side bets.
- Random multipliers of 10x to 1,000x apply to one side-bet outcome each round.
ICONIC21 has launched Gravity Poker, a live casino game that pits players against the dealer in Texas Hold’em, with side-bet multipliers of up to 1,000x.
Announced on 22 October, the title is the newest addition to the supplier’s flagship Gravity Series.
How it plays
Players do not compete against one another in Gravity Poker. Each participant goes up against the dealer, receiving two hole cards and building the strongest five-card hand from those and five community cards.
The key decision comes after the flop. Players either continue with a Call bet or fold, which keeps each round straightforward without stripping out the strategic appeal of poker.
The game keeps the familiar structure of Texas Hold’em. On top of it, ICONIC21 has layered random multipliers and side-bet mechanics, which it says are designed to increase entertainment.
Gravity Poker adds two optional side bets, AA+ and The Pocket, both settled independently of the main game. AA+ pays out based on the strength of a player’s hole and flop cards.
The Pocket looks only at the first two hole cards. It pays on qualifying combinations, including pairs and blackjack, turning the opening deal into a standalone chance to win before the main game unfolds.
The random multiplier system sits on top of these side bets. Before each round, a qualifying side-bet outcome is selected and assigned a multiplier of between 10x and 1,000x.
If that highlighted outcome wins, players holding it collect the boosted payout. ICONIC21 said this creates the possibility of significant returns from a single hand.
Gravity reaches poker
Edvardas Sadovskis, Chief Product Officer at ICONIC21, said:
“Gravity Poker is a natural progression of our Gravity Series, which is built around a simple idea: keeping dynamic multipliers active in every round to create immediate excitement and engagement.”
“The Gravity Series has already proven its appeal across multiple formats, and with Gravity Poker we’ve brought that same multiplier-driven experience to one of the world’s most recognisable card games. Players get the familiarity of Texas Hold’em-style gameplay alongside the anticipation and winning potential that have become hallmarks of the Gravity brand.”
The new title joins a range that already includes Gravity Blackjack, Gravity Roulette, Gravity Auto Roulette, Gravity Sic Bo, Gravity Plinko and Gravity Wheel. ICONIC21 has also extended the concept from live casino into RNG products.
Poker has been on the roadmap for a while. In an exclusive thought leadership piece for iGaming Republic, Andrii Savyntsev, the supplier’s product team lead, explained the thinking behind Gravity Poker.
Gravity Wheel has since gone live as a money wheel game show, also offering multipliers of up to 1,000x. Like the rest of the series, it keeps dynamic multipliers active on every spin rather than saving them for a bonus round.
Where it fits
The poker launch lands during a busy run of releases. Earlier this month, ICONIC21 brought face-down doubling to online blackjack and released a four-game Halloween pack spanning crash, RNG blackjack and slots.
Distribution has widened over the same period. The supplier recently agreed to take its full portfolio to Advabet’s network, adding to aggregator routes such as Alea, which carries nearly 90 ICONIC21 titles.
Gravity Poker is now available to operator partners. ICONIC21 is targeting both traditional poker players and casino audiences seeking faster gameplay, simplified decision-making and jackpot-style multiplier opportunities.
That dual pitch is the test for the title. Poker players will judge it on how much strategy survives the single Call-or-fold decision, and casino players on how often those multiplied side bets land.
Capacity is also growing. ICONIC21 is preparing a two-floor studio and office in Vilnius, with more than 350 roles planned as it expands across Europe.
