Soft2Bet, a casino and sportsbook operator and platform provider, has announced the appointment of Andrew Cochrane as chief commercial officer.
The move strengthens the company’s senior leadership team as it continues executing its long-term growth strategy across regulated markets worldwide.
In his role as CCO, Cochrane will oversee Soft2Bet’s global commercial execution, strategic partnerships, and growth across multiple business verticals.
His focus will be on driving long-term value for the group by consolidating its market position and identifying new commercial opportunities in regulated markets.
Extensive background in the sector
Cochrane joins Soft2Bet with extensive experience in senior commercial leadership within the international gaming and sports betting sectors.
Prior to joining the company, he served as chief business officer at Gaming Innovation Group (GiG), where he played a key role in accelerating business development, expanding the company’s regulated market footprint, and driving a return to revenue growth.
He has also held senior leadership positions at DraftKings and SBTech, bringing expertise in navigating complex regulatory frameworks and leading large-scale transformation initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.
Andrew Cochrane, chief commercial officer of Soft2Bet, commented ahead of his arrival:
“This is an exciting moment to be joining Soft2Bet. The business has built a high-performance platform supported by an ambitious strategic growth roadmap, and stepping in at this stage presents a genuine opportunity to help shape and accelerate its next phase of development.
“I’m looking forward to working alongside the leadership team and playing a central role in driving the Group’s continued expansion and long-term commercial success across regulated markets worldwide.”
Platform and operator growth
The appointment comes as Soft2bet executes its expansion strategy across regulated markets.
The company operates as both a platform provider and operator group, powering casino and sportsbook brands across various markets with proprietary technology.
Soft2bet’s technology includes MEGA, its plug-and-play gamification suite designed to help operators increase engagement and lifetime value through personalised experiences and data-driven decision-making. MEGA integrates via API into existing casino and sportsbook environments.
Recent launches demonstrate the company’s market expansion.
Soft2bet launched TopBet.ro in Romania with motorsport-inspired branding. The operator introduced a social media-inspired casino platform, Swiper, in the same market, as well as in Sweden.
The company’s brand portfolio includes Betinia and Campobet in Denmark and Sweden, with Betinia achieving double-digit market share. The brand recently signed Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone as a brand ambassador.
Soft2bet also operates Elabet.gr, which recently launched a television advertising campaign across Greece.
Track record in regulated markets
At GiG, Cochrane enabled the group to enter the Philippines’ regulated market through a partnership with Solaire Resorts, announced a partnership with UK broadcaster ITV, and signed Belgian casino operator Golden Palace for launch in France in 2026.
Prior to GiG, Cochrane worked at SBTech where he helped sign tier-one clients including Finnish monopoly Veikkaus and Sweden’s Svenska Spel. His experience in securing major operator partnerships positions him to strengthen Soft2bet’s dual role as platform provider and operator group.
