LoneStar Casino brought two nights of parties, prizes and Austin energy to downtown during Big Race weekend

The LoneStar weekend included a Friday party at The Studio, a Saturday downtown event, six hourly prize leaderboard rounds, branded cars and a fleet of pedicabs across Austin.

LoneStar Casino brought two nights of music, prizes and entertainment to downtown Austin during the Big Race in Austin weekend.

The activation began on Friday, October 23, with a LoneStar party at The Studio on East 6th Street, followed by a second night of activity on Saturday, October 24.

Both events ran from 8 PM to 1 AM.

The two-night activation gave guests another downtown destination during one of Austin’s busiest weekends, combining music, leaderboard competitions, technology prizes, branded vehicles and citywide LoneStar activity.

Six hourly leaderboard rounds across the weekend

LoneStar hosted three hourly leaderboard rounds each night, beginning at 9 PM, 10 PM and 11 PM, for a total of six separate contests across the weekend.

Each round operated as a stand-alone Spin the Wheel leaderboard competition.

Eligible registered players received five free spins that could be used in any round. Registration for a LoneStar account was free, and no purchase was necessary to receive the free spins.

Additional eligible spins could also count toward the relevant leaderboard in accordance with the Official Rules, with qualifying spins competing on the same leaderboard.

The five highest-scoring eligible players in each round qualified for tiered technology prizes.

The prize lineup included a headline smartphone prize, Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, AirPods 5, Fujifilm Instax Mini 12 cameras and Loop Experience 2 earplugs.

Not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Apple, Meta, Fujifilm or Loop.

Winners were determined from LoneStar’s platform records when each round closed and were required to claim their prizes in person within the applicable claim period.

Participation in the leaderboard was limited to eligible guests aged 21 and older, subject to the full Terms and Conditions.

Music and downtown Austin nightlife

The downtown activation also featured a dedicated DJ area, venue bar and LoneStar-branded screens.

The DJ hosted the leaderboard rounds throughout each night, introducing the competitions and announcing winners.

A LoneStar neon installation provided a dedicated backdrop for photos and content from the weekend.

LoneStar hosts worked both inside and outside the venue, welcoming eligible guests and helping them register for the activation.

Branded cars brought LoneStar to street level

Two LoneStar-branded vehicles were also positioned at street level on East 6th Street during the weekend.

The vehicles created a high-visibility presence around the activation and provided another focal point for guest and creator content.

Eligible registered guests who met the applicable requirements also had the opportunity to take part in a ride-along through downtown Austin with a professional driver, subject to waiver requirements and the full applicable terms.

LoneStar across Austin throughout October

LoneStar’s presence extended beyond the two event nights. A fleet of 10 branded pedicabs operated across Austin throughout October, including during race weekend.

During the weekend, the pedicabs operated around downtown Austin, extending the LoneStar presence beyond the event location and across the surrounding area.

A LoneStar billboard also ran from Friday, October 23 through Monday, October 26.

Austin creators joined the weekend

Austin-based creators also participated across the weekend, producing content focused on nightlife, lifestyle, luxury, automotive culture and the wider Austin experience.

Additional local micro-creators were also invited to attend and share moments from the activation.
