- LuckyCasino has launched in the regulated Spanish market, becoming the second LCKY Group brand operating in the country.
- The platform offers over 2,000 games, including LuckyCasino exclusives, alongside localised offers and payment methods tailored for Spanish players.
- The move builds on the group’s existing Spanish presence through OneCasino, which joined the portfolio following a deal announced in late 2024.
LCKY Group has expanded its presence in Spain with the launch of LuckyCasino, adding a second regulated brand to its Spanish portfolio as the group pursues further European growth.
The Malta-headquartered operator, which rebranded from Glitnor Group in January 2026, brings LuckyCasino to Spain on the back of a strong track record in Sweden, where the brand has operated since the market’s regulation in 2018.
Spanish foothold
OneCasino entered Spain as part of a broader European portfolio that also covered the Netherlands and Denmark. Glitnor Group announced the acquisition of OneCasino in October 2024, with closing expected in the first half of 2025 pending regulatory approvals.
With the deal completed, LuckyCasino now gives LCKY Group a second regulated brand in the country.
According to the company announcement, the platform launches with more than 2,000 games, including titles exclusive to LuckyCasino, supported by localised promotions and payment methods designed for Spanish players.
Spain has become one of the most closely watched regulated markets in Europe. The country’s online gambling sector generated a record €410.3 million in gross gaming revenue in Q2 2025, an 18.6% increase year-on-year.
Mark Schram, MD B2C Central and South Europe at LCKY Group, said:
“Everyone at LuckyCasino is looking forward to showing off the mix of variety and innovation that’s made our platform such a huge hit elsewhere. With Spain being a key market for us going forward, we’re excited to build on the success LCKY Group has already enjoyed in the country with OneCasino, and we expect our vast selection of content will prove hugely appealing for Spanish customers.”
Building across markets
Schram previously served as CEO of OneCasino before its acquisition and has since taken on broader regional responsibility across Central and Southern Europe within LCKY Group.
The group has been reinforcing its technology capability alongside its market expansion. The recent appointment of Alex Manning as Group CTO signals continued investment in the platform infrastructure required to operate across multiple regulated jurisdictions.
LCKY Group’s current footprint spans Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark, Ontario and Spain, with Swintt, its in-house game studio, supporting content development across the portfolio.
With Spain designated as a priority market by the group, the question for operators and observers is how quickly LuckyCasino can convert its Nordic momentum into sustained player acquisition in one of Europe’s highest-value online casino markets.
