Glitnor has rebranded as LCKY Group on 15 January 2026, marking a new phase of expansion across regulated markets in Europe and North America.
The move unites the parent company with its portfolio of consumer brands, consolidating its identity as it seeks growth.
The company operates Lucky Casino, Happy Casino, Flax Casino, VeraJohn, One Casino, and Swintt, its in-house game studio that delivers content to both its own platforms and external clients.
Offices are located in Malta, Sweden, Spain/Gibraltar, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, and Stockholm, with a workforce of over 300 staff.
Richard Brown, CEO of LCKY Group, kept his statement short:
“This is a natural evolution of who we already are. LCKY Group is a clearer expression of our ambition, our culture and the brands we are building. We are confident in our direction and excited about what comes next.”
Portfolio and operations
LCKY Group focuses on regulated markets, with key operations in Sweden, the Netherlands, and Ontario. A recent turnkey sportsbook partnership with Kambi allows sports betting across its portfolio.
The acquisition of One Casino in October 2024 strengthened the group’s Dutch presence. Since its launch in 2018, Glitnor has reported more than 100% year-on-year growth.
Leadership and company culture
Richard Brown took the CEO role in January 2024. He has 16 years of iGaming experience and previously served as CEO of Gaming Innovation Group from 2019 to 2023, where he oversaw international expansion and record revenue growth.
The company draws its team from established gaming brands and prioritises a people-first culture, supporting growth in competitive markets and providing a foundation for further international expansion.
LCKY Group will host an event at ICE Barcelona on 19 January 2026 to mark the rebrand. The gathering will bring together partners, clients, and industry peers. ICE Barcelona provides networking opportunities aligned with the group’s expansion plans.
Market context
Operating in regulated markets requires strong compliance standards. LCKY Group highlights its regulatory record as a base for growth, with Europe forming its core operations and North America expanding via Ontario.
Strategic partnerships, including the Kambi sportsbook deal, indicate a focus on sports betting, while Swintt develops content for B2B clients. Brands such as VeraJohn have received industry awards, reflecting recognition in the market.
Rebranding is common in iGaming, enabling operators to consolidate identity and support international growth. For instance, SuperBet rebranded as Super Technologies in December 2025.
LCKY Group plans to enter additional regulated markets. Investors are monitoring revenue potential, and regulators are expected to assess compliance performance. The group’s approach to brand alignment, partnerships, and player engagement provides a model for other operators pursuing international expansion.
