- bet365’s app was Spain’s most downloaded online sports betting app between September 2025 and February 2026, according to Sensor Tower data.
- The app holds a 4.5 star rating from over 228,000 reviews, making it Spain’s most popular sports betting app.
- A YouGov study found bet365 is Spain’s most recognised online betting brand, with 47% overall awareness.
bet365 has been confirmed as the most downloaded online sports betting app in Spain between September 2025 and February 2026, according to data from analytics firm Sensor Tower.
The operator said the milestone reflects growing trust among Spanish consumers in its mobile platform.
App store performance
bet365’s app holds a 4.5 star rating from more than 228,000 reviews across app stores, which the operator says makes it the most popular sports betting app in Spain.
The company attributed the figures to the app’s user experience, its range of betting markets and its in-play features, designed to offer seamless navigation, real time updates and secure transactions.
Alex Sefton, global chief marketing officer at bet365, said:
“To be named as the most downloaded Online Sports Betting App in Spain is a source of great pride for all at bet365. It is testament to bet365’s continuous global commitment to innovation and delivering a world-class product.”
Brand recognition rises
A separate YouGov study carried out in Spain found bet365 to be the country’s most identifiable online betting brand overall, with 47% recognition. A large proportion of 18 to 34 year olds identified bet365, placing the brand above competitors in that demographic.
bet365 said the brand recognition underlines its established presence in Spain, where it prioritises responsible gambling initiatives and adheres to regulatory standards.
The news follows a recent enhancement to bet365’s Open Account Offer in Spain, which increases the amount matched in Bet Credits from €100 to €200 for new customers, available from 26 May 2026.
Wider European expansion
The Spanish download figures arrive during a period of rapid growth for bet365 across Europe. The operator has secured a licence from France’s Autorité Nationale des Jeux, allowing it to launch a sportsbook on the bet365.fr domain ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
bet365’s French entry came under licence number 0067-PS-2026-04-16-AGR-00, valid for five years from 16 April 2026. The operator has said online poker and horse race betting will follow in later phases.
bet365 operates across more than 60 regulated markets globally and is an Official Global Partner of the UEFA Champions League, a sponsorship that runs until 2027.
New product launches
bet365 has also been expanding its product range ahead of the World Cup. The operator launched Jackpot365, an in-house progressive jackpot feature built directly into the sports betslip, the first of its kind from a major bookmaker.
The feature offers four progressive jackpots and has paid out close to £50 million across more than 112,000 wins since its original launch on bet365 Casino in December 2025. Jackpot365 is now live on sports betting in markets including the UK, Netherlands, Sweden and Ontario, with Brazil and Michigan to follow.
The download and recognition figures position bet365 as a dominant force in Spain’s mobile betting market at a time when competition for market share and brand visibility is intensifying across Europe.
With new market entries, product launches and a major sporting calendar all converging this summer, bet365’s momentum may prompt closer scrutiny from both regulators and rivals.
