bet365 adds progressive jackpot to betslip ahead of World Cup
- bet365 has become the first operator to embed a progressive jackpot directly into a sports betslip, with Jackpot365 now live across key markets.
- The in-house feature launched on bet365 Casino in December 2025 and has generated more than 112,000 jackpot wins, with nearly £50m in prizes paid out, according to the company.
- The rollout covers the UK, the Netherlands, Sweden, Ontario and selected bet365.com territories, with Michigan and Brazil to follow.
bet365 has extended its proprietary Jackpot365 feature to its sports product, becoming the first operator to integrate a progressive jackpot directly into a sports betslip.
The new product feature, announced today on 8 June 2026, arrives days before the FIFA World Cup kicks off on 11 June, one of the highest-traffic periods in the global sports betting calendar.
The feature is live in the UK, the Netherlands, Sweden, Ontario and across selected bet365.com territories. Rollouts in Michigan and Brazil are planned to follow.
How it works
Jackpot365 gives customers placing sports bets the option to enter one of four progressive jackpot tiers by paying an additional entry fee on top of their regular stake. Participation is entirely voluntary and has no bearing on the outcome of the underlying bet. The feature was built entirely in-house by bet365.
The product first went live on bet365 Casino in December 2025. Since that debut, bet365 says the feature has generated more than 112,000 jackpot wins, with almost £50m in prizes paid out to date. The company adds that hundreds of jackpot wins are dropping daily across the four tiers.
A bet365 spokesperson said:
“Jackpot365 is a wonderful addition to our bet365 sports platform, giving customers the opportunity to land a huge jackpot win on any qualifying bet. Designed and built in-house at bet365, this innovative product offering adds an extra layer of excitement and value to every visit to bet365.”

Casino mechanics meet sportsbook
Jackpot365’s extension to sports blurs the traditional boundary between casino and sportsbook products. Progressive jackpots are a long-established staple of online casino products. Embedding the mechanic directly into a betslip, where the customer is placing a wager on a live sporting event, represents a new product direction for the industry.
The timing ahead of the World Cup is unlikely to be coincidental, positioning the feature for maximum visibility at peak traffic. bet365 has been active across several fronts in the lead-up to the tournament.
The operator recently launched its sportsbook in France under an ANJ licence and entered Alberta’s regulated iGaming registry ahead of that province’s 13 July market opening. It has also added a World Cup collectible game via Playbook Fusion across UK, Brazil and Netherlands markets.
Michigan, Brazil in the pipeline
With Michigan and Brazil rollouts still to come, the geographic scope of Jackpot365 on sports is set to broaden through 2026. The Michigan expansion is particularly notable given that bet365 only launched its sportsbook and casino in the state in April, making it one of the operator’s newer US markets.
bet365 has positioned Jackpot365 as an engagement layer that sits on top of, rather than instead of, the core betting experience. How that model resonates with sports bettors at scale will become clearer over the coming weeks.
With 112,000 casino wins already logged during December 2025, the early data gives the operator reason for confidence.
