Wazdan has expanded its North American presence with a launch across Caesars Entertainment’s online casino platforms in West Virginia, marking another state entry for the Malta-based supplier in the regulated US iGaming market.

The deployment, facilitated through the Light & Wonder aggregation platform, went live on 18th December and includes Caesars Palace Online Casino, Horseshoe Online Casino and Caesars Sportsbook & Casino.

Portfolio includes signature mechanics

West Virginia players can now access a selection of Wazdan’s slot titles, including 9 Coins™ Grand Gold Edition, Magic Spins™ and Hot Slot™: 777 Crown. The games feature the supplier’s proprietary engagement mechanics such as Cash Infinity™, Hold the Jackpot and Sticky to Infinity™.

The West Virginia launch follows previous deployments in New Jersey, Michigan and Pennsylvania. Wazdan secured its West Virginia licence in November 2021 and has been building operator relationships in the state since then.

Andrzej Hyla, Chief Commercial Officer at Wazdan, said:

“Launching with Caesars Entertainment in West Virginia is a fantastic achievement for our team and a pivotal moment in our US strategy.

“Caesars is one of the most recognisable names in gaming and bringing our top titles to their online casino brands, via Light & Wonder, allows us to further broaden our reach while delivering the innovative experiences players have come to expect from Wazdan.”

Caesars strengthens content library

For Caesars Entertainment, the integration adds to its existing online casino portfolio in West Virginia. The state launched its legal iGaming market in July 2020, with operators including DraftKings, BetMGM and FanDuel competing in the regulated space.

Ricardo Cornejo Rivas, Vice President of Online Gaming at Caesars Digital, commented:

“Introducing Wazdan’s popular slot titles to our online casino players in West Virginia furthers our continued commitment to providing the best possible user experience. This addition expands our library of premium titles, which we look forward to offering across our online casino platforms in the Mountain State.”

The partnership with Light & Wonder as the aggregation partner streamlines the technical integration, enabling Wazdan to deploy content across multiple operator platforms more efficiently. Light & Wonder’s aggregation services have become valuable for suppliers seeking multi-state distribution in the US market.

Implications for market growth

The launch demonstrates the role of aggregation platforms in facilitating market entry for international suppliers. Light & Wonder’s involvement in connecting Wazdan with Caesars Entertainment reflects an industry trend where aggregators serve as intermediaries, reducing technical barriers and accelerating time-to-market.

As Wazdan expands its US state count, success in West Virginia could open pathways to additional Caesars properties in other jurisdictions. The collaboration highlights Caesars Entertainment’s content acquisition strategy, which balances relationships with established major suppliers and emerging international providers.

The supplier has built its reputation on mobile-first game design and releases more than 40 unique slot titles annually. Its games support multiple currencies and cryptocurrencies, positioning Wazdan to serve diverse player demographics across different jurisdictions.
