Tipico publishes 2024 ESG report highlighting responsible gaming and sustainability progress
• Tipico reports significant reductions in carbon emissions and improved player protection measures.
• Over 15,000 training hours delivered to support employee development across 87 nationalities.
• Tipico operates 100% in regulated markets.
The report highlights a measurable drop in turnover from vulnerable customers, with Tipico reducing this key performance indicator below 1.5% in 2024.
The company also launched its first nationwide responsible gaming TV campaign, reaching over four million viewers via sports broadcasts and social media. In addition, Tipico continued its investment in research, treatment programmes, and the scientific evaluation of its player protection strategy.

On the social front, Tipico invested heavily in its workforce of more than 2,300 employees from 87 countries. The company delivered over 15,000 hours of training and placed strong emphasis on fair pay, clear career paths and targeted leadership development to remain competitive as an employer.

From an environmental perspective, Tipico continued its journey toward eliminating Scope 1 and 2 CO₂e emissions by 2030. In 2024, Scope 2 emissions were reduced by 41% compared to the previous year.
The company also expanded its waste tracking and recycling efforts at its offices in Malta, Karlsruhe and Munich in preparation for ISO 14001 certification, which was achieved in 2025.
