  • Digitain has signed a strategic partnership with Silkbet to support the operator’s planned launch in the UK regulated market.
  • The deal equips Silkbet with a full turnkey platform covering sportsbook, casino aggregation, CRM and payments.
  • It builds on Digitain’s UK betting licence, secured from the Gambling Commission on 2 February 2026.

Digitain has agreed a strategic technology partnership with Silkbet, under which the sportsbook and iGaming solutions provider will supply a full turnkey platform to support the operator’s planned launch in the UK regulated market.

The deal, announced by Digitain on 24 August 2026, brings together sportsbook, horse racing, virtual sports, casino aggregation, CRM and payment capabilities within a single platform for Silkbet’s UK online operations. Digitain said the offering is backed by its own infrastructure and 24/7 support.

One stack, one deal

Digitain is pitching the deal as a consolidated alternative to operators piecing together separate vendors for sportsbook, payments and CRM. The company has built its UK strategy around that single-stack model since entering the market.

Digitain holds a UK betting licence from the Gambling Commission, granted alongside full sportsbook and platform certification on 2 February 2026. It has pointed to that clearance as central to its ability to support operators launching in Great Britain.

Dario Jurčić, chief commercial officer for Europe and Africa at Digitain, said:

“Our continued expansion across Europe is a key part of Digitain’s commercial strategy, and partnerships such as this demonstrate the strength of our approach. Being able to support operators in highly competitive regulated markets such as the UK with proven technology and comprehensive solutions is an important differentiator for us. The partnership with Silkbet is another significant step in our European growth journey, and we look forward to creating long-term value together.”

A familiar face

The deal lands months after Digitain brought in Alexander Jones as regional sales director for the UK and Western Europe, a hire the company framed at the time as central to its UK push in an earlier interview with iGaming Republic.

Jones said:

“We are delighted to welcome Silkbet as a new partner and to support its ambitions in the UK. The UK is a market where operators demand a high level of technology, product quality, reliability and local expertise, and these are areas where Digitain has continued to strengthen its capabilities. We see this as the beginning of a strong relationship built around trust, collaboration and a shared ambition to deliver an excellent player experience.”

Ed Kelly, chief executive of Silkbet, cast the operator as a challenger to the market’s larger brands:

“We are incredibly proud to partner with Digitain as we take this exciting step into the UK market. The early years of online betting were defined by excitement, personality and a genuine focus on the customer. Our ambition is not to recreate the past, but to bring those qualities into a modern betting experience built for today’s player.”

Still in the pipeline

Silkbet joins a run of 2026 operator deals for Digitain, including a similar multi-phase deal with Winbet Romania. The supplier is leaning on that repeat-deal momentum to argue it can serve operators across both mature and newly regulated European markets from one platform.

Silkbet has held an active UKGC licence since June 2026 but has yet to bring its sportsbook live, so the Digitain partnership effectively marks the technology foundation for that launch rather than an expansion of an existing UK operation.

Its promise of a more personal, boutique feel will be tested on execution and marketing once the site goes live, given that Digitain’s underlying platform is also available to competing licensees.
