bet365 has introduced a new global brand positioning, We Know Betting, retiring its long–running Never Ordinary platform.

The shift launched via a television advert around Arsenal’s Premier League opener against Coventry City at the Emirates Stadium on 21 August, and marks more than 25 years of the operator’s presence in digital betting.

The accompanying Reasons campaign launched in the UK and Denmark on the same day, with Spain and Germany to follow in the coming weeks.

Retiring never ordinary

We Know Betting was developed after research with customers and staff across the business. bet365 built the positioning around the expertise it has refined through decades of running the betting experience, rather than a standalone claim to authority.

The company frames the platform as a demonstration rather than an assertion. Its messaging centres on showing customers how that expertise translates into a better, simpler experience, with the brand describing the work as ongoing rather than a finished statement.

The platform succeeds Never Ordinary, which underpinned bet365’s marketing for several years, including campaigns tied to its UEFA Champions League sponsorship. It is the operator’s second brand repositioning of 2026, after the North American campaign it unveiled with agency VML earlier in the year under the tagline ‘Winning Is Everything’.

Alex Sefton, Global Chief Marketing Officer at bet365, said:

“At bet365, we’ve never been ones to stand still. ‘We Know Betting’ reflects the 25 years we’ve spent perfecting what we do and, importantly, how we use that knowledge to create the best possible experience for our customers.

“‘Reasons’ is the first expression of ‘We Know Betting’, giving us a clear, confident platform to demonstrate rather than simply tell people why our expertise matters. It’s an exciting next chapter for bet365.”

Inside the Reasons campaign

The Reasons campaign was created with Drummond Central, bet365’s long–standing creative partner, and spans owned channels, broadcast, audio, print, sponsorship and out–of–home advertising.

The hero film was directed by Jack Driscoll for Academy and produced by Tom Cartwright, with filming carried out in Prague alongside production company Unit Sofa. Client services on the account were handled by Alex Evans and Rachael Henderson at Drummond Central.

UK media buying and planning was handled by Republic of Media. Ahead of the main advert’s debut, bet365 ran a short “blipvert” spot introducing viewers to the new concept during the opening game of the 2026/27 Premier League season.

The film pairs visual depictions of bet365’s expertise with customer moments, structured around an open–ended series of numbered “Reasons.” bet365 says the open–ended format reflects the scale of experience built up over more than two decades, with the number of Reasons intended to keep growing as the brand does.

Kevin Lynn, Creative Director at Drummond Central, said:

“We Know Betting is bet365 at its most confident, and ‘Reasons’ turns the camera on the brand itself and asks what’s behind the experience. We wanted bet365’s expertise to feel tangible rather than abstract, so every reason earns its own moment on screen. It’s a different kind of storytelling for bet365, but it’s one that’s backed up by 25 years of doing this better than anyone else.”

Growth amid scrutiny

bet365 says the new platform will extend across every customer touchpoint, from its app and digital channels to sponsorship assets and customer communications.

Its PLAY SAFE | bet365 responsible gambling campaign continues alongside the rollout, with safer gambling messaging built into Reasons marketing rather than run as a separate strand. The operator points customers to its own responsible gambling tools for managing play.

The rebrand lands during a period of scrutiny and expansion for bet365 in equal measure. In July, the operator accepted a legally binding AUSTRAC undertaking to overhaul its anti–money laundering systems in Australia.

In March, the operator has ended a 23-year sponsorship of Newmarket and Haydock racecourses, citing rising costs and a significant increase in tax burden.

Spain and Germany, the next two markets due to receive Reasons, are both places where bet365 has recently reported strong traction. The operator was named Spain’s most downloaded app earlier in 2026, and its first monthly slots report, published in August, placed Germany among its leading casino markets.
