ICONIC21 launches AI dealer blackjack for RNG tables
- ICONIC21 has launched iDealer Blackjack, a seven-seat RNG blackjack game featuring a real-time AI-powered dealer built on RAVATAR’s avatar platform.
- The AI dealer is not pre-recorded; it welcomes players by name, adapts to game flow, remembers past interactions, and responds in English with localised touches.
- Operators can customise the dealer’s appearance, voice and personality, with the table backdrop drawing on a live stream of one of ICONIC21’s own studios.
iGaming content provider ICONIC21 has launched iDealer Blackjack, a classic seven-seat RNG blackjack game featuring a fully live, AI-powered dealer, developed in collaboration with interactive AI avatar company RAVATAR.
The product addresses a longstanding gap in the RNG table category: the absence of meaningful human interaction. By combining standard RNG mechanics with an expressive, real-time AI presence, ICONIC21 positions iDealer Blackjack as a complement to live casino rather than a replacement for it.
What the dealer does
The AI dealer is powered by RAVATAR’s real-time interactive avatar technology and operates without pre-recorded scripts. It greets players by nickname, initiates conversation during quiet moments, and adapts naturally to the rhythm of the session. It retains memory of individual players and past interactions, building a sense of familiarity over time.
Language support is expansive. The dealer understands players in any language and responds in English with localised nuance. Its lip sync is rendered naturally, and its personality remains consistent throughout play.
The table backdrop is a live stream drawn from one of ICONIC21’s own studios, grounding the AI presence in a physical environment rather than a generic digital setting.
Edvardas Sadovskis, Chief Product Officer at ICONIC21, said:
“iDealer Blackjack is a natural progression for RNG tables. It’s important to highlight that this product is not a challenge to live casino as we know it. The AI-powered dealer is not trying to be human. It is exactly what it is: an expressive, well-built companion that makes the game more engaging.
“One of the most interesting things we’ve already noticed is how players interact with it. Because they understand they are speaking to artificial intelligence, conversations go far beyond standard live casino chat. Players are asking about history, world facts, random trivia, jokes, and all kinds of unexpected topics during gameplay. This creates a completely different level of engagement around the table.”
Built for operators
iDealer Blackjack retains the full range of customisation options available on standard RNG blackjack tables, including layout, cards and backdrop configuration. An expanded suite of operator-specific features is in development.
In time, operators will be able to tailor the AI dealer’s appearance, voice, personality and speech traits to align with their brand. Combined with multi-language comprehension, the product can be adapted for virtually any regulated market.
Ruslan Synytsky, CEO at RAVATAR, said:
“The next decade of iGaming will be defined by AI-powered presence, personality, and interaction, not just better graphics or faster gameplay. ICONIC21 came to us with a strong sense of what their product needed to feel like for players.
“iDealer Blackjack, built on our AI avatar platform, is the first step into that future and sets the direction for what RNG gaming can become.”
The launch follows ICONIC21’s recent release of Squeeze Baccarat, another RNG title built around elevated player interaction and operator customisation.
What’s next
iDealer Blackjack’s customisation roadmap is active, with new operator-facing features planned on top of the current foundation. For operators seeking differentiation in a saturated RNG market, the product offers a scalable route to higher engagement without the infrastructure overhead of a live studio.
For the wider industry, the launch signals a maturing use case for AI avatars in casino gaming. As the technology improves and operators grow more familiar with deploying AI-driven experiences, the boundary between RNG and live content is likely to narrow further.
