High Roller Technologies (NYSE: ROLR) has signed a definitive agreement with Crypto.com | Derivatives North America (CDNA) to bring a regulated event contract product to US consumers, the Las Vegas-based online casino operator announced on April 14.
The agreement formalises a binding letter of intent the two parties entered in January 2026, moving the partnership from a planned launch to a contractually secured structure.
Under the terms, CDNA, a CFTC-registered designated contract market and derivatives clearing organisation, will supply event contracts to customers through High Roller’s platform across finance, sports, and entertainment.
Regulatory structure
To distribute the product lawfully, High Roller plans to register with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission as an Introducing Broker. It will also establish a relationship with Crypto.com’s CFTC-registered Futures Commission Merchant, creating a compliant distribution chain between the exchange and end users.
The structure mirrors the approach Crypto.com has used in comparable deals with other US operators. The crypto exchange has secured similar partnerships across the industry in recent months, including with fantasy sports platform Underdog and sports operator Fanatics.
Executives comment
Seth Young, Chief Executive Officer of High Roller Technologies, said:
“We’re thrilled to have reached a definitive agreement to enter the prediction markets space with Crypto.com. Over the last few months, we have been working towards preparing our product and other logistics for this transformative opportunity and today marks a significant milestone in that journey. We believe this partnership gives us a strong starting position in a market with meaningful long-term potential, and we’re confident in our ability to deliver.”
Kris Marszalek, Co-founder and CEO of Crypto.com, said:
“High Roller brings a premium brand, strong online expertise and an established customer-facing platform to this opportunity. Together, we believe we can expand access to regulated event contracts in the United States through a differentiated and highly scalable offering.”
Market context
The US prediction markets sector has attracted significant capital and operator interest in 2026. A Bank of America report published earlier this month placed the potential annual trading volume for US sports event contracts at $1.1 trillion. The figure cited in the High Roller agreement, drawn from an Eilers and Krejcik Gaming estimate, exceeds $1 trillion.
High Roller posted Q4 2024 revenue of $4.7 million as a pure-play online casino operator. The prediction markets pivot represents a structural expansion of its addressable market, moving the company into CFTC-regulated territory for the first time.
The company has previously flagged plans to enter the Ontario market alongside its US prediction markets push.
High Roller said it will provide updates on product details, brand, launch timing, and marketing partnerships following the definitive agreement. The company has previously signalled a non-binding letter of intent with Altenar for a managed sportsbook solution, though that arrangement has not progressed to a definitive stage.
With regulators globally paying closer attention to event contracts, the CFTC-registered framework underpinning the High Roller and Crypto.com structure may become a reference model for other operators seeking compliant US market entry.
