SBC Summit has unveiled a dedicated Compliance Tech track for its 2026 conference agenda, examining the technologies helping operators detect fraud, combat illegal activity and strengthen compliance.
The track runs on Thursday, 1 October 2026 at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa, closing out the three-day Regulation & Compliance stage after tracks on Global Regulations and Player Protection earlier in the week.

Fraud and new markets
The track opens with “More Players, Less Risk: Maximising Approvals in a Regulated World,” examining how technology can reduce block rates and false positives without raising fraud exposure. Speakers include Tom Orton, Director of Content and Payments at Rank Group, and Tim De Borle, COO of Casumo.
A second session, “Bring on the New Markets: What Are the Compliance Challenges?,” turns to the hurdles operators face when entering unfamiliar jurisdictions. Panellists include Miguel Luis, Head of Compliance at LeBull, and Raymond Wilson, MLRO and Senior AFC Manager at Midnite, who will examine how operators can spot local criminal threats and manage compliance across multiple markets.
Rasmus Sojmark, Founder and CEO of SBC, said:
“The same technological advances that are helping operators protect their businesses are also changing the nature of the threats they face.”
“As criminals become more sophisticated and operators navigate increasingly complex regulatory requirements, simply having more technology isn’t enough. The challenge is knowing where it can make a real difference, and this track will examine where the industry should be focusing its attention.”
Digital identity and defence
Attention then turns to “EUDI Wallets & Digital Identity: A New Era for KYC or Just New Complexity?,” assessing whether the EU’s digital identity wallets can streamline onboarding or simply shift complexity elsewhere. The panel features Andrea Carvalho, Head of Legal, Compliance and AML Affairs at Entain, alongside Yiannis Stavroulas, CTO of Novibet, and blockchain architect Jean-Michel Azzorpadi.
Later sessions turn to “At the Intersection of Cybersecurity, Regulation and Collaborative Defence” and “Closing the Loopholes: How to Combat Bonus Abuse,” examining how regulators and cybersecurity teams can strengthen industry-wide defences and how operators can tackle evolving forms of bonus exploitation.
Access and networking
Beyond the sessions, delegates can join a Compliance Show Floor Tour introducing operators to compliance technology providers, plus 21 market-focused Regulatory Gaming Meetups connecting attendees with regulators and legal experts. Access to conference sessions is included with Conference, Business and VIP Passes; attending the compliance-focused networking initiatives requires a Business or VIP Pass.
The Compliance Tech track joins several other additions to SBC Summit’s six-stage agenda this year, including a payment compliance track on the Payment Expert Summit stage, an emerging markets track covering Africa, CEE and the Far East, and an AI Academy session tackling deepfake fraud. The full conference programme is now CPD accredited ahead of September’s event.
