SBC Summit conference programme gains CPD accreditation

The Lisbon event runs from 29 September to 1 October and expects 40,000 professionals across six conference stages.
An optional Education+ upgrade offers specialist academies and masterclasses at €249 per session.

SBC has secured official accreditation from The CPD Certification Service for the full conference programmes of SBC Summit and the co-located Affiliate Leaders Summit, meaning every session, academy and masterclass at September’s Lisbon event now counts towards recognised Continuing Professional Development.

The accreditation covers the entire educational offering across both events, from headline keynotes to workshop-style masterclasses. Delegates will leave with formally recognised professional development alongside the usual networking and market intelligence.

Six accredited stages

Taking place from 29 September to 1 October at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa and the MEO Arena, the combined events expect 40,000 professionals. The 2025 edition drew delegates from more than 150 countries.

CPD hours can be earned across six SBC Summit stages: the Super Stage for headline keynotes, the Global & Emerging Markets Stage, the Technology & Innovation Stage, the Payment Expert Summit Stage, the Regulation & Compliance Stage and the Product Innovation Showcase Stage.

The Affiliate Leaders Summit forms part of the accredited programme too, spanning two conference stages and the Affiliate Leaders Academy. Its agenda covers affiliate strategy, media buying, customer acquisition, automation, artificial intelligence and business transformation. Access requires a separate Affiliate Leaders Pass, which also includes the full SBC Summit conference programme.

Education+ upgrade

An optional CPD-accredited Education+ upgrade is available to attendees of both events at €249 per session. It features four Tech Academies covering AI, Marketing, Web 3.0 and Gamification, plus three Masterclasses on Sportsbook Trading, Electronic Gaming and Responsible Gaming Marketing.

Conference access is included with the €599 Conference, €799 Business and €999 VIP passes. A Super Stage Pass (€199) and Super Stage Golden Circle Pass (€499) cover the keynote programme only, with full options listed on the SBC Events site.

The accreditation caps a busy build-up to Lisbon. SBC has recently unveiled a hands-on AI Academy, a dedicated emerging markets track and direct regulator meetups, alongside a player protection symposium. With Michael Jordan confirmed to headline the Super Stage, the accredited programme gives delegates and their employers a measurable return on three days in Lisbon.
