  • Big Bass Bonanza and Big Bass Splash, both Pragmatic Play titles, climbed the UK chart in July.
  • Legacy of Dead held top spot in Germany, with four Book of Ra variants also in the top ten.
  • Cleopatra Keno topped Alberta’s first-ever leaderboard as bet365 launched in the province on day one.

bet365 has launched its Games Rankings and Gaming Update for July, a monthly breakdown of which slots performed best across ten of its regulated markets in July.

The report measures popularity through an algorithm weighing revenue, stakes, sessions and engagement, and covers the UK, Germany, Spain, Brazil, Greece, Canada, Ontario, Alberta, Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Big Bass leads in the UK

The UK leaderboard stayed fairly settled at the top. IGT’s Gold Cash Freespins held the number one spot for a second straight month. The bigger story sat just below it: Pragmatic Play’s Big Bass Bonanza jumped six places to second place. bet365’s own bespoke title, Big Bass Splash, climbed from 19th to seventh.

Big Bass Splash is the latest entry in Pragmatic Play’s long-running fishing-themed franchise, built exclusively for bet365. It ranks as the seventh best-performing game the operator has launched in the UK this year. Players can land three, four or five scatters to trigger 10, 15 or 20 free spins, collecting money symbols worth up to 5,000x alongside wilds.

Luke Rushton, bet365 Gaming Product Manager, said:

“Taking one of the most recognisable slot brands in the industry and reimagining it through the bet365 lens, Big Bass Splash successfully blended proven gameplay with a distinctive visual identity. The result was strong customer engagement and another example of our commitment to delivering market-leading gaming experiences through partnerships with top-tier providers.”

Germany told a different story. Heritage content proved stickiest there. Play’n GO’s Egyptian-themed Legacy of Dead, released in 2020 and built around expanding wild symbols during its free spins round, kept top spot for a second month. Novomatic’s Book of Ra format also strengthened its grip, with four separate variants placing in the German top ten.

Pragmatic Play rules Brazil

Brazil remains heavily tilted toward Pragmatic Play. Gates of Olympus Super Scatter took the number one spot from the original Gates of Olympus. Sugar Rush 1000 jumped eight places to third. The supplier occupies four of the market’s top ten positions overall.

The country’s separate crash-game leaderboard is more stable, led by Spribe’s Aviator. The title is now a fixture of Brazilian casino lobbies, effectively synonymous with the crash category for bet365 players there. Spribe pioneered the fast-paced, multiplier-based format that has become a staple of Latin American operator content.

Greece produced the sharpest single climb of the month. Play’n GO’s Rich Wilde and the Tome of Madness, a Lovecraft-inspired cluster-pays title released in 2019, took top spot. Age of the Gods: God of Storms rocketed 12 places to fifth.

Alberta launches from scratch

Canada delivered the report’s headline regulatory story. bet365 went live in Alberta on 13 July 2026, day one of the province’s newly regulated iGaming market, extending its footprint beyond Ontario.

The launch was paired with bet365’s wider CFL sponsorship, giving the brand added visibility with local sports fans. bet365 was one of 22 platforms approved to go live on day one.

Every game entered the Alberta chart as a new listing. IGT’s Cleopatra Keno took the inaugural number one spot, followed by Amazing Link Zeus and Eruption Blaze CASHINGO. Pragmatic Play’s Gates of Olympus Super Scatter and Sugar Rush Super Scatter also cracked the Alberta top ten.

Games Corps, a Swedish studio, went live with bet365 in Alberta on day one too, as part of an expanded partnership that spans Spain and Ontario.

In Ontario, movement was even sharper. IGT’s Area Link Phoenix Firestorm retained top spot. Sugar Rush Super Scatter surged from 29th to second, and Capital Gains jumped 30 places to third.

Jackpot payouts climb

bet365’s linked jackpot product, Jackpot365, also featured prominently in the report. Alberta only launched on July 13, but the province produced more than 1,000 jackpot wins in its first weeks. bet365 paid out over £246,000 to customers there alone.

Globally, Jackpot365 has now paid out more than £103 million since its December 2025 launch, from over 234,000 wins across the UK, Sweden, the Netherlands, Brazil, Ontario, Michigan and Alberta. July alone accounted for more than 41,000 jackpot wins worth £18.3 million.

Alberta’s chart is a snapshot of week one, built entirely from new entries with no history to compare against. A second month of data will show whether Cleopatra Keno and the Pragmatic Play titles that opened strong can hold their positions, or whether Alberta players’ tastes shift once the novelty of a new market wears off.
