HIPTHER Warsaw Summit returns for October dates

HIPTHER Warsaw Summit 2026 will run on 27–28 October at the InterContinental Warsaw by IHG, drawing regulators, operators and technology providers into two days of sessions on European gambling regulation, compliance and artificial intelligence.

The gathering keeps HIPTHER’s boutique conference format, built around direct access to speakers rather than the scale of a mega-show floor.

Compliance under one roof

The programme groups gambling regulation, compliance and market development alongside responsible gambling, anti-money laundering and fraud prevention. Digital identity and the EU’s eIDAS 2.0 framework also feature, reflecting how closely player protection and identity verification now intersect for operators across Europe.

Sessions extend into fintech and payments, cybersecurity, infrastructure and the shift toward AI-powered discoverability in search, a theme HIPTHER has flagged across its other 2026 events too.

The Warsaw edition carries forward what was previously staged as the European Gaming Congress, which closed its 2025 run in Warsaw with record attendance and named lawyer Marek Plota as the Summit’s first Ambassador.

A different kind of room

HIPTHER has built the format around fewer parallel sessions and more unstructured time, aiming to let attendees speak with panellists directly rather than compete for meeting slots on a packed expo floor.

Morning wellness activities, networking lunches and evening gatherings run through the two days, alongside hands-on HIPTHER Academy workshops that turn main-stage discussions into applied exercises.

Awards and a wider circuit

The Summit will host the European iGaming Excellence Awards (EiGE Awards 2026), recognising achievements across the region’s gambling sector alongside the conference programme.

Warsaw sits within a broader 2026 calendar for the organiser, which marked ten years of its Central and Eastern European flagship at the Prague Summit in April and closed a three-city run through Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn under the HIPTHER Baltics 2026 banner in June.
