LeoVegas Group has launched a sports betting vertical on its GoGoCasino brand in Sweden, powered by its proprietary Tiger sportsbook platform, following a new licence grant from Swedish regulator Spelinspektionen.

The rollout brings Tiger to Sweden for the first time, extending the platform’s international footprint beyond Denmark and the Netherlands in Europe, and Brazil via BetMGM Brazil (MGM Resorts/Grupo Globo JV), where it launched in January 2026.

Swedish debut for Tiger

GoGoCasino, which first launched in Sweden in 2019 as a casino-focused brand, now operates both casino and sportsbook verticals under a single platform in the regulated market. The new betting licence was awarded by Spelinspektionen in addition to GoGoCasino’s existing online gambling licence.

The Tiger integration brings a range of features to Swedish users. These include a fully adaptable bet builder, daily boosted odds, partial cash-out and a live betting product.

Adrian Vella, Chief Product and Technology Officer at LeoVegas Group, said:

“Launching our proprietary sportsbook, Tiger, on our home turf in Sweden is a massive milestone for the entire Group, and I couldn’t be more excited. Our teams across the globe have worked tirelessly to continue our international rollout, and this new addition to GoGoCasino will add layers of excitement for players who enjoy the thrills of both casino and betting.”

Wider Tiger rollout

MGM Resorts (via LeoVegas) acquired the Tiger sportsbook technology platform from Tipico Group in 2024, giving LeoVegas Group full ownership of its sportsbook tech stack. Since the acquisition, the platform has been deployed across multiple regulated markets as part of a broader strategy to integrate proprietary technology across the Group’s nine brands.

The Tiger sportsbook had previously gone live on BetMGM Brazil in January 2026, representing its debut in Latin America. The Sweden launch on GoGoCasino now adds a fourth jurisdiction to the platform’s live markets, with the Group operating across 10 jurisdictions and employing over 1,900 staff across Europe.

Sweden remains one of LeoVegas Group’s core regulated markets, where Spelinspektionen has maintained active oversight of licensed operators including updated supervision fee structures that took effect on 1 March 2026.

Market implications

The GoGoCasino sports betting launch consolidates LeoVegas Group’s position in a Swedish market where close to one in five (24%) consumers place bets online, according to a 2025 Casinofeber survey. Offering an integrated casino and sportsbook product under a single brand licence sharpens GoGoCasino’s competitive standing against rivals already active in both verticals.

For the broader Group, the continued Tiger rollout signals a shift toward full vertical integration of its technology infrastructure. Operators and investors will be watching whether further brand deployments follow in markets such as the United Kingdom, where LeoVegas and BetMGM already hold active licences.
