Codere Online launches iOS Poker app in Mexico

Codere Online Luxembourg, S.A. (Nasdaq: CDRO / CDROW) announced on 19 February 2026 the launch of its iOS Poker application in Mexico.

Developed in partnership with Playtech, the app connects players directly to Playtech’s player-vs-player (P2P) Poker network, enabling real-time competition across multiple operators and positioning Codere Online to expand its product footprint in one of Latin America’s most active online gaming markets.

Poker demand drives mobile push

Codere Online has observed consistent growth in poker engagement within Mexico. The company reports more than 1,300 unique active users per month playing poker across its existing channels — a figure that illustrates the vertical’s traction well before dedicated mobile access became available.

The iOS launch is the first step in a broader multi-product roadmap for Mexico. An Android Poker application and a Bingo product are confirmed as the next planned releases in the market.

Codere Online operates primarily in Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Panama, and Argentina, and has built its online business on an omnichannel model that complements the physical presence of its parent, Codere Group — a multinational entertainment operator with more than four decades of experience across seven countries.

P2P network integration sets the product apart

The technical backbone of the new application is Playtech’s established P2P Poker network. By integrating directly with this infrastructure, Codere Online’s Mexican players gain access to shared liquidity pools that span multiple operators — a meaningful advantage for a market where table depth directly influences the quality of the player experience.

The app supports cash tables, multi-table tournaments, Sit & Go formats, and fast-paced game modes. The interface is designed to be stable and intuitive on mobile. Built-in responsible gaming tools are also included, allowing players to manage their activity within a controlled environment.

Playtech backs cross-operator liquidity model

For Playtech, the release extends the footprint of its P2P Poker network into the Mexican market via an established regulated operator.

The company has positioned its shared-network model as a solution to one of online poker’s persistent challenges — thin player pools that reduce game variety and competitive depth, particularly in emerging or mid-sized markets.

The iOS Poker launch arrives as Codere Online prepares to report its Q4 2025 financial results on 26 February 2026. The product rollout adds a concrete expansion narrative to a company that has recently focused on financial reporting cadence and leadership changes, including the appointment of Marcus Arildsson as Chief Financial Officer.

With Android Poker and Bingo both in the pipeline for Mexico, the company is moving to build out a full-spectrum gaming portfolio in a market where mobile-first behaviour is entrenched.
