bet365 has officially launched its online sportsbook and casino in West Virginia, becoming the operator’s 18th regulated US state.
The Thursday launch brings bet365’s sports betting and casino products to West Virginia bettors ahead of the college football and NFL seasons, backed by two new customer sign-up offers.
New player offers
To mark its West Virginia entry, bet365 is offering new customers a “Bet $10, Get $150 + 50 Spins” Open Account Offer, alongside a “1,000 Deposit Match + 1,000 free spins” alternative. Both promotions are live from launch day, and customers must be 21 or older to register.
West Virginians also gain access to bet365’s Early Payout Offer, which settles qualifying football bets as winners once a team takes a 17-point lead, regardless of the final score. The feature arrives in time for the college football and NFL seasons, alongside extensive betting markets and live, in-game wagering throughout the football calendar.
With bet365’s arrival, West Virginia’s regulated market grows to nine licensed online sportsbooks, joining BetMGM, DraftKings, FanDuel, Caesars, BetRivers, Fanatics, theScore Bet and Betly, as the state heads into its busiest betting period of the year.
Casino goes live too
On the casino side, West Virginia bettors can access bet365’s free-to-play Daily Prize Matcher game and the newly launched Jackpot365, an in-house multi-tier progressive jackpot built directly into a betslip or casino game.
The dual-vertical entry mirrors bet365’s approach in Michigan, one of only a handful of US states where the operator runs sportsbook and casino side by side. bet365 streams more than one million live events annually and takes bets across more than 100 sports, and builds responsible gambling tools including spend and session limits directly into its app.
North America growth
Trip Stoddard, Head of Development at bet365, said the launch reflects the company’s continued strategy across the region.
“West Virginia represents another important step in bet365’s continued expansion across North America. As we grow our presence across the region, our focus remains on bringing customers the quality, depth and functionality that define the bet365 platform. With football season just around the corner, it’s an exciting time to introduce our sportsbook and casino offerings to customers across the state.”
The launch builds on the momentum of bet365’s “Winning Is Everything” brand campaign, and follows bet365’s entry into Alberta’s regulated iGaming market in July, where the operator also signed on as an official betting and casino partner of the CFL.
bet365 held an interim West Virginia license from January before securing full annual approval on 29 July, according to West Virginia Lottery licensing records.
The operator now offers casino gaming in four of its 18 US sportsbook states, a ratio rivals will be watching closely as more betting-only markets weigh whether to open the door to online casino.
