Vegas Club Casino is open for business in New Jersey, built on White Hat Gaming’s PAM stack and running under a Caesars Entertainment market access deal.
The brand carries a New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement licence and marks the first online casino launch for G2 Digital, the operator founded by industry veterans Greg Carlin and Dan Alexander.
A throwback pitch
The play here is nostalgia, not novelty. Vegas Club leans hard into the idea of Las Vegas as it used to be, run by operators rather than conglomerates, and Carlin and Alexander are betting that framing cuts through in a state where dozens of brands are already competing for the same wallet share.
Carlin knows the terrain well. He co-founded and ran Rush Street Gaming and Rush Street Interactive before stepping away, and now owns Granite State Gaming & Hospitality in New Hampshire. This is his first online casino build since leaving Rush Street.
Alexander’s background is more platform-side: he was part of the team that took PlayStar from a standing start to a top-ten New Jersey operator.
Greg Carlin, Co-Founder and CEO at G2 Digital, said:
“Creating a great online gaming experience means delivering authentic excitement, real player protections, and the feeling that every player is a VIP. Vegas Club Casino combines the timeless appeal of classic Las Vegas with the transparency and security of a fully regulated online casino. We look forward to earning players’ loyalty through fair play and a fun, exciting experience.”
The app is live now at NJ.PlayVegasClub.com and on iOS and Android, restricted to players 21 and up who are physically located in New Jersey.
White Hat’s bet
For White Hat Gaming, this is a fresh name on a client list that already includes Bally’s, Jackpocket and the Choctaw Nation.
The exclusive PAM deal hands G2 Digital the supplier’s CRM tools, proprietary cashier and RGS integrations, along with Travelling Wallet, its cross-state product built specifically for operators planning to scale beyond one jurisdiction. That last piece matters given where Carlin and Alexander say they’re headed next.
Phil Gelvan, CEO at White Hat Gaming, said:
“Greg and Dan are incredibly well-respected in the industry, so we are proud that they have chosen White Hat Gaming’s first-class PAM solution to supplement G2 Digital as it expands its operations in the US iGaming space with Vegas Club Casino. We are dedicated to delivering a highly optimized PAM product that ensures G2 Digital provides its players with a seamless, high-performance gaming environment.”
Timing and what’s next
New Jersey isn’t a soft landing spot. The state’s online casino market posted $271 million in gross gaming revenue in June alone, up 17.5% year-over-year, pushing first-half revenue past $1.59 billion.
Launching into that kind of momentum cuts both ways: there’s real money on the table, but the incumbents aren’t standing still either.
G2 Digital says New Jersey is step one, not the whole plan. Alberta, Ontario and Pennsylvania are next on the list, pending regulatory sign-off. Alberta in particular is fresh ground, having only opened to private operators on July 13, with its own quirks already in place, including a ban on political betting that regulators wrote into the rulebook ahead of launch.
New Jersey gave G2 Digital a natural audience for the throwback pitch. Alberta and Pennsylvania won’t come with that built-in nostalgia, and that’s where the branding actually gets tested.
