Tipico Games, the online gaming arm of German sports betting and gaming group Tipico, has selected Gamanza Engage as its gamification and CRM partner for the German market, the companies announced on 25 February 2026.

The collaboration will see Tipico Games integrate Gamanza Engage’s responsible engagement platform into its player experience strategy. The suite includes gamification mechanics, free-to-play (F2P) games and CRM tools designed to build engagement without relying on direct bonus incentives.

Gamanza is also joining the Tipico Trusted Partner Program as a supplier fully compliant with German gaming regulations.

Non-incentive engagement at the core

Germany’s regulated online gaming market operates under some of the most stringent restrictions in Europe, including tight limits on bonusing and player interaction. The partnership is structured to address those constraints by offering engagement tools that reward participation and progression rather than direct spend.

Gamanza Engage’s modular architecture allows its mechanics to be adjusted to specific operational requirements, a feature relevant to Germany’s regulatory environment. AI-driven capabilities and large-scale prediction models are included to support engagement decisions and ongoing optimisation.

Andrés Blanco, Managing Director and Chief Product Officer for Gamanza Engage, said:

“We are proud that Tipico Games has chosen Gamanza Engage as a partner for gamification and CRM,” Blanco said.

“Tipico is a highly respected operator with a strong focus on product quality and player experience. This partnership reflects a shared belief that meaningful engagement is built through thoughtful interaction, precision, and long-term player value rather than short-term incentives.”

Regulatory alignment as a priority

From Tipico’s perspective, the deal supports its broader strategy of delivering a premium product that meets the German market’s regulatory demands without compromising on experience quality.

Stefan Esch Schulte, Head of Games Brand at Tipico, commented:

“Gamification is a core pillar of our player engagement strategy for Tipico Games,” Schulte said.

“Gamanza Engage offers a flexible and well-engineered approach that allows us to enhance the player journey in a way that is both engaging and fully aligned with our regulatory responsibilities. Therefore we are very happy to onboard Gamanza Engage to the Tipico Trusted Partner Program, too.”

The agreement reflects a broader shift in European iGaming operator strategy, where compliance pressure is driving greater interest in gamification tools that can maintain player engagement without falling foul of bonus restrictions.

Germany, in particular, has seen increased uptake of such solutions as operators seek to differentiate their products within a tightly regulated framework.

For suppliers like Gamanza, securing a partnership with a major national operator such as Tipico provides a reference point for expansion into other restricted European markets, where similar regulatory dynamics are reshaping how operators approach retention and loyalty.
