iGaming is legal in Armenia under a comprehensive regulatory framework. The Gaming Law entered into force on January 1, 2025, introducing responsible gambling principles and geo-blocking to prevent Armenians from accessing foreign platforms.

 

Armenia doubled operator fees in April 2025 and introduced a 10% turnover tax effective July 2025. License fees face annual multipliers (3x in 2026, 4x in 2027, 5x in 2028).

 

Operators must use .am domains and connect to the central monitoring system. Two new regulatory bodies—the Gaming Sector Monitor and Gaming Operator Institute—are being established.

 

Follow tax policy changes, quota system implementation, social responsibility measures, and concerns over gambling addiction rates.
