Digitain secures full membership with European Lotteries Association

Digitain, the sportsbook and igaming platform provider, has achieved full Associate Membership status with the European Lotteries (EL) following confirmation by the organisation’s General Assembly on 17 September 2025.

The gaming technology company initially secured provisional membership in February 2025, with the recent approval marking the completion of a formal assessment process. European Lotteries serves as the umbrella organisation for national lotteries across Europe, promoting collaboration, responsible gaming practices, and innovation within the sector.

Strategic expansion milestone

The membership represents a key development in Digitain’s strategy to strengthen its presence within regulated European markets. Associate membership provides the company with opportunities to engage directly with established lottery operators, exchange industry knowledge, and contribute to initiatives focused on sustainable growth and modernisation.

Technology partnership opportunities

The approval enables Digitain to showcase its gaming platform technology to European Lotteries members whilst participating in industry-wide initiatives. The company’s multi-channel gaming platform includes sportsbook, casino, live dealer and virtual sports modules, supported by integrated payment systems and customer management tools.

The membership approval follows Digitain’s broader expansion into regulated markets, building on previous associate membership with CIBELAE, the Ibero-American Corporation of State Lotteries and Betting, achieved in late 2024. The company maintains gaming licences and certifications across multiple jurisdictions, including Malta Gaming Authority approval and GLI certification for its gaming products.
