Superbet has announced founder Sacha Dragic’s appointment as sole Chief Executive Officer, effective January 2026.

The Board ratified this transition from joint leadership with Co-CEO Jimmy Maymann, positioning Dragic to oversee the firm’s next stage of international expansion and product innovation.

The change is designed to create faster decision-making and reinforce Superbet’s competitive positioning across key regions.

Leadership structure advances global ambitions

The leadership overhaul follows sustained market performance in Romania, Belgium, and Poland, with the company targeting growth in Serbia and Brazil.

Commenting on the appointment, Sacha Dragic, CEO of Superbet:

Superbet’s board has also confirmed the appointments of Sameen Jalal as Chief Technology Officer, Andrei Dusu as Chief Product Officer, and Albert Simsensohn as Chief Operating Officer.

Recent strategic pivots have emphasised Superbet’s evolution towards becoming a product-led company. The organisation is accelerating as market leader in Romania, brand leader in Belgium, and growing rapidly in Poland. Expansion into Brazil is underway, in addition to a push toward podium position in Serbia.
