SBC Summit has launched a structured networking programme powered by SBC Connect, giving delegates the tools to prearrange meetings, secure curated introductions and join market-specific conversations before they arrive.

The Summit runs from 29 September to 1 October at Feira Internacional de Lisboa and the MEO Arena in Lisbon, bringing together more than 40,000 betting and gaming professionals.

Five formats, one app

The networking programme centres on five structured daytime formats: SBC Connect Meets, Speed Networking, Regulatory Gaming Meetups, Show Floor Tours and Smart Connect. Each is designed to help delegates cut through the scale of the event.

SBC Connect Meets sits at the core of the programme. Through the SBC Summit website, Networking, Business and VIP Pass holders can browse the attendee list, message other delegates and arrange one-to-one meetings in the SBC Connect Lounge before they even land in Lisbon.

Speed Networking offers four themed sessions covering first-time attendees, AI implementation, payments and future industry leaders, built to connect delegates with a wide range of contacts inside an hour.

Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and Founder of SBC, said:

“With more than 40,000 people in one place, the real challenge is helping delegates make the best use of their time. We’ve built the networking programme around different needs. Some attendees want meetings lined up before they arrive, others want introductions to unfamiliar sectors or a quicker way to expand their network.”

Regulatory access built in

Regulatory Gaming Meetups will run 21 dedicated sessions connecting delegates with regulators, legal experts and professionals working across specific jurisdictions. Each session is led by a specialist in that market, covering licensing, compliance and policy developments.

Show Floor Tours give delegates a guided route through the Summit’s 130,000 square metres of exhibition space. Eight tours, led by the SBC team, focus on themes including AI in gaming, casino games, platform and aggregation technology, sportsbook solutions, marketing technology, and compliance.

Smart Connect targets a more selective audience. It matches senior operator representatives with a limited number of suppliers based on business objectives and target markets, with each participant receiving a personalised schedule of pre-qualified 15-minute meetings.

Evening events close it out

Networking is not confined to the daytime schedule. On 29 September, the SBC Summit Opening Party will bring delegates together at Pavilhão Carlos Lopes for complimentary drinks and informal networking.

The Summit concludes on 1 October with INFINITY Lisbon at the MEO Arena. Headlined by DJ Tiësto, the closing party combines festival-scale production with a final opportunity for delegates to build on the connections made across the week.

Access to the structured networking options is limited to Networking, Business and VIP Pass holders. Delegates without INFINITY Lisbon access built into their pass can purchase a Party Pass upgrade separately.
