Relax Gaming has released Iron Bank 2, delivering on sustained player demand for a sequel to one of its highest-performing slots.

The release marks the fifth collaboration between the iGaming supplier and streaming community CasinoGrounds, combining community feedback with enhanced mechanics and substantially increased player control.

50,000x maximum win potential

The sequel retains the original’s 50,000x maximum win potential while introducing new customization options that address a common industry trend: giving players more agency over their gaming experience rather than purely passive spins.

Tony O’Mahony, Chief Product Officer at Relax Gaming, said:

“Iron Bank has become a firm favourite among players, having been originally developed in conjunction with CasinoGrounds. The demand for a sequel has been loud and clear and with Iron Bank 2, we’ve gone all-in.”

“The original Iron Bank is one of the most popular games Relax has ever produced and we feel like continuing the story is the perfect way to round off another action-packed year of game releases.”

Played across a 6×4 grid with 4,096 ways to win, Iron Bank 2 lets players choose between two base game modes from the first spin.

Random Mystery mode features up to 13 Mystery Symbols, while Random Wilds can deliver as many as four Wild Multiplier Reels simultaneously. Both maintain high volatility while offering distinctly different gameplay rhythms.

Iron Bank 2 features

The newly introduced Bonus Reels feature represents a departure from standard slot mechanics. Available at 10x stake through Upgrade Spins, this mode populates reels exclusively with bonus icons, fundamentally altering the hit frequency and anticipation cycle that typically governs slot design.

Landing three bonus symbols triggers free spins, where players select from Multiplier Collect, Mystery Symbols, or Expanding Wilds.

Each variant offers Standard, Super and Ultra versions for escalating intensity, while the Bonus Symbol Boost can randomly increase triggering symbols before reels stop. Lucky Boost adds additional power once rounds are live.

Community-driven game development

The collaboration with CasinoGrounds, now spanning five titles, reflects a growing industry interest toward community-driven game development. Rather than relying solely on internal studio instincts, this partnership model incorporates direct player feedback and streamer insights into the design process.

O’Mahony emphasized the player-centric development approach:

“Working alongside the people who matter most of all, the players, we’ve really raised the stakes, enhancing the volatility, feature set, and audiovisuals to give them what they wanted.”

Bonus Buy options at 100x, 300x or 900x stake

For players preferring immediate access to bonus rounds, Iron Bank 2 includes Bonus Buy options at 100x, 300x or 900x stake, depending on desired volatility levels.

Enhanced Spins are available at 1.5x stake for those seeking middle-ground options between base gameplay and full bonus purchases.

These features cater to an increasingly sophisticated player base comfortable with variable stake strategies, though their inclusion continues to generate regulatory scrutiny in certain markets where buy features face restrictions or outright bans.

Aggressive european expansion

The supplier has been particularly active in European market expansion, recently securing a content deal with Admiral.ch to enter Switzerland and partnering with Bet365 to strengthen its Italian presence.

The company’s growth trajectory has been supported by strategic leadership appointments, including Antonia Svensson as Chief Commercial Officer, positioning the business for continued regulated market penetration.

Relax Gaming operates across multiple regulated jurisdictions including Ontario, Malta, Gibraltar, the UK, Romania, Greece and Sweden. The company’s aggregation platform now provides over 4,000 casino games to more than 700 operator brands through a single integration point.
