PrizePicks, the leading sports entertainment operator in North America, has announced a new partnership with Mindway AI to strengthen player safety measures across its platform. The collaboration integrates Mindway’s GameScanner technology directly into PrizePicks’ system, enabling automated detection of at-risk gaming behaviours.

The integration allows PrizePicks to implement dynamic behavioural analytics that can identify nuanced player patterns indicating potential problems. These include shifts towards more frequent play, increased session frequency, or accelerated spending which may signal escalating risk.

Enhanced detection capabilities

Mindway AI’s technology provides PrizePicks with sophisticated monitoring tools that analyse behavioural data across the entire player lifecycle. The system enables proactive identification of problematic gaming patterns before they escalate, facilitating timely interventions.

“Partnering with Mindway marks a meaningful evolution in how we support player protection,” said Phil Sherwood, Senior Director of Responsible Gaming at PrizePicks.

“By enhancing our ability to analyse behavioural data, we’re able to deliver more tailored interventions and promote responsible play tools with greater precision—helping ensure a safer, more sustainable experience for all of our players”.

Real-time intervention system

The partnership enables personalised nudges and reminders about responsible gaming behaviours, helping increase player self-awareness through data-driven insights. Customer support representatives will now have access to a more comprehensive understanding of individual player needs during interactions.

“Today marks an exciting day for our company,” said Rasmus Kjaergaard, CEO of Mindway AI.

“Partnering with PrizePicks signifies a hugely positive step for player protection not only in the daily fantasy sports realm but in the North American market as a whole.

“We are proud and rearing to go on our journey with PrizePicks, which we are fully confident will lead to solid outcomes for both risk minimisation for their players but also increased commercial benefit for PrizePicks”.

Industry recognition and expansion

The partnership comes as PrizePicks received iCAP accreditation from the NCPG for its responsible gaming practices, becoming the first and only fantasy sports operator to earn this certification in 2025. The company continues to prioritise responsible gaming investment as it expands to new markets.

Mindway AI operates across 64 jurisdictions including the US, UK, Brazil, Australia, and Malta, with solutions currently monitoring more than 13 million active players monthly. The Danish company’s technology is available in 14 different languages and is backed by Better Collective A/S as majority shareholder.

The integration also enhances PrizePicks’ ability to promote support resources like Kindbridge Behavioral Health and tools such as timeouts and self-exclusion options, creating a more comprehensive player protection framework.
