- iGaming content developer PopOK Gaming has announced a partnership with Lithuanian operator TOPsport.
- TOPsport players gain access to PopOK’s full catalogue, spanning slots, live casino titles, and instant games.
- The deal extends PopOK’s footprint in the regulated Baltic market as Lithuania undergoes a major regulatory overhaul.
PopOK Gaming has struck a content deal with TOPsport, the operator widely credited with establishing Lithuania’s betting and gaming industry, giving the supplier direct access to one of the Baltic region’s most prominent player bases.
The agreement sees PopOK’s portfolio go live on the TOPsport platform, covering the studio’s slots, live casino offerings, and instant games. TOPsport holds an estimated 50% share of the Lithuanian betting market and operates a nationwide network of 54 retail locations alongside its online platform.
Reaching Lithuania’s players
Founded in 2002, TOPsport is the longest-established betting operator in Lithuania and has grown into the market’s dominant force. The operator sponsors BC Žalgiris, Lithuania’s only EuroLeague basketball team, and holds the title sponsorship of the country’s top domestic football league.
PopOK Gaming, founded in 2019 and headquartered in Malta, has built a portfolio of more than 90 titles including video slots, crash games, instant win products, and live casino games. The studio received Lithuanian game certification in late 2023, clearing the regulatory path for the commercial arrangement.
Luiza Melikyan, head of business development at PopOK Gaming, said:
“We are incredibly proud to collaborate with TOPsport, a brand that defines excellence in the Lithuanian market. Our mission has always been to provide high-quality, entertaining content that resonates with players. Partnering with a market leader like TOPsport allows us to showcase our innovation to a massive audience and reinforces our commitment to growth in regulated European markets.”
Dainius Gulbinas, CEO of TOPsport, added:
“This collaboration is an important step for both teams. PopOK’s engaging content and dynamic entertainment format are a strong addition to the TOPsport platform, helping us deliver even more variety, quality, and excitement to Lithuanian players.”
Baltic momentum builds
The deal arrives at a pivotal moment for both parties. TOPsport is in the midst of a corporate transition: Fortuna Entertainment Group agreed in March 2026 to acquire a 70% stake in the operator, in what has been described as one of the largest foreign investments in Lithuania in recent years.
The transaction, backed by FEG parent company Penta Investments, is expected to accelerate product expansion and bring additional technological investment to the platform.
For PopOK Gaming, the TOPsport partnership is the latest in a string of high-profile distribution agreements. The studio recently confirmed deals with Stake and LuckyStreak, and has placed growing emphasis on European regulated markets as a core pillar of its expansion strategy.
Lithuania’s broader regulatory environment is also shifting. The country raised the legal gambling age from 18 to 21 in July 2025, increased gambling tax to 22%, and is preparing stricter advertising restrictions ahead of a new gambling regime due by 2028. Suppliers and operators building content partnerships now are positioning themselves ahead of that consolidation.
