Kambi Group acquires OMEGA Systems’ player account management platform source code
- Kambi Group acquires source code for player account management (PAM) platform from OMEGA Systems.
- Acquisition supports Kambi’s entry into Nevada’s sports betting market and future expansion opportunities.
- The combined Turnkey Sportsbook and PAM solution expected to be product-ready by mid-2026.
Kambi Group has acquired the source code for a player account management (PAM) platform from OMEGA Systems, an acquisition set to accelerate its entry into the Nevada sports betting market and potentially other jurisdictions with limited third-party PAM options.
The acquisition enables Kambi to develop its own in-house PAM solution, a critical component that handles player onboarding, identity verification, payment processing, promotional tools, and casino aggregation capabilities.
This will complement Kambi’s existing Turnkey Sportsbook offering, creating a full sportsbook solution for regulated markets like Nevada, where Kambi recently secured licensure.
The OMEGA Systems PAM platform is already integrated with Kambi’s sportsbook frontend and is currently used by several sportsbook operators. Kambi expects the combined turnkey sportsbook and PAM solution to be product-ready in Nevada by mid-2026, subject to regulatory approval.
Kambi’s CEO Werner Becher said:
“Kambi is already the trusted home of premium sports betting solutions, and this acquisition reinforces that leadership position. While we remain platform agnostic, the addition of an in-house PAM solution to our Turnkey Sportsbook ensures we can unlock commercial opportunities in Nevada and potentially in other jurisdictions as they arise.”
OMEGA Systems founder and CEO Jim Godsell commented:
“Over the years OMEGA and Kambi have provided combined solutions to operators in multiple jurisdictions. This acquisition allows Kambi to build on the OMEGA PAM architecture and enter new markets quickly. As is the case with other OMEGA licensees, Kambi is “Taking Control” of its PAM solution.”
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Kambi will continue to support third-party PAM providers in markets where it remains beneficial, maintaining operational flexibility and choice for operators.
This acquisition comes as part of Kambi’s broader strategic effort to strengthen its turnkey sportsbook presence and expand market access. By owning key components like PAM technology, Kambi can better control product development and regulatory compliance in complex markets.
The move is timely given Nevada’s stringent regulatory environment, where third-party PAM options are limited and in-house solutions provide competitive advantages.
Kambi’s proprietary PAM platform will underpin its sportsbook offerings for retail and online operations in the state and may open doors to other regulated territories with similar requirements.
Looking ahead, this strategic step positions Kambi to better serve operators and regulators with integrated, compliant solutions, reinforcing its role as a key player amid evolving regulations in the U.S. and beyond.
