Kaizen Gaming appoints Vassilis Gavroglou as Chief Human Resources Officer

• Vassilis Gavroglou joins as CHRO with over 20 years of experience in energy, technology, banking and consulting sectors
• The appointment comes as Kaizen Gaming manages a workforce of 2,700 people across 40 nationalities in 19 countries
• Gavroglou’s role will focus on strengthening HR strategy during the company’s period of rapid international expansion

Kaizen Gaming has appointed Vassilis Gavroglou as its new Chief Human Resources Officer to lead the company’s people strategy as the operator continues its global expansion.

The appointment was announced on 16 September, with Gavroglou taking responsibility for managing the company’s diverse international workforce of over 2,700 employees spanning more than 40 nationalities across 19 countries.

Gavroglou brings extensive leadership experience to the role, with more than two decades working across energy, technology, banking and consulting sectors. His previous positions include leadership roles at Sunlight Group Energy Storage Systems, OTE Group (part of Deutsche Telekom), and the National Bank of Greece.

The appointment follows the departure of former Chief People Officer Stella Voulgaraki, who left Kaizen Gaming in July after more than three years in the role. Voulgaraki had overseen the development of the company’s global HR framework during a period of significant international growth.

The company’s growth trajectory has been substantial, expanding from a modest Greek operation to become one of Europe’s largest GameTech companies. Kaizen Gaming now operates more than 700 software engineers across six technology hubs and over 90 agile teams developing online gaming products.
