Gaming Realms has unveiled Lucky Lunar, a new slot studio that will see the Slingo creator enter the slots vertical for the first time, expanding its product portfolio beyond its signature hybrid games.

Lucky Lunar has been set up as a slot-focused studio under the Gaming Realms umbrella, with a remit to create bespoke titles that combine Slingo-inspired elements with familiar casino mechanics.

New studio with Slingo-driven mechanics

The company describes the new venture as having “bold ambitions to enhance the future of iGaming through innovative, bespoke titles that push the boundaries.”

The studio’s roadmap centres on pairing established concepts with distinctive presentation and features. From enchanting visuals to unique gameplay, Lucky Lunar aims to produce games that stand out in crowded lobbies and give players a sense of wonder with every spin.

Its portfolio will draw on proven Slingo features and fuse them with formats and bonus structures that slot players already recognise.

The first release, Rise of Aztec, is scheduled for early February and will introduce a new Lock & Slingo™ mechanic. This feature combines Hold & Win gameplay with Slingo-style progression, designed to deliver rewarding experiences that balance familiarity with novelty.

Further titles are planned throughout 2026, with each game expected to align luck, creativity and originality as part of the studio’s identity.
