FIRST.bet has taken the Sports Betting Supplier title at the EGR B2B Awards 2026, adding the industry’s flagship B2B accolade to a run of recognition that has tracked the supplier’s rise from launch to Tier 1 status in under 2 years.
The ceremony took place on 3 June at City Central at the HAC in London. The EGR B2B Awards recognise standout service providers across the iGaming industry, with winning seen as a mark of excellence that strengthens credibility and supports new business development.
The category reflects growth, product performance and commercial impact across some of the most competitive regulated betting markets globally.
Award momentum
The EGR B2B title extends a run of major supplier recognition that began in 2025.
FIRST.bet collected 5 awards that year: Sports Betting Supplier of the Year at the SBC Awards; Sportsbook Supplier of the Year at the EGR LATAM Awards; Sports Betting Supplier of the Year at the Starlet Awards; Client Satisfaction of the Year at the AffPapa LATAM Awards; and Sportsbook of the Year at CGS Recife.
Recognition has continued into 2026. The company was named Best Sportsbook Provider at BiS SiGMA South America earlier this year.
CEO Tom Light also received the Individual Achievement Award at the EGR Europe Awards in February, recognising his leadership in building one of the fastest-growing sportsbook suppliers in the industry.
Tom Light, CEO, FIRST.bet, said:
“Winning Sports Betting Supplier at the EGR B2B Awards is an important moment for FIRST.bet. It reflects the progress we’ve made as a business, the quality of the product we’ve built, and the standards the team holds itself to every day.
“Most importantly, it reflects the results our partners are seeing in the market. We’ve always believed that sportsbook technology has to prove itself in real conditions, and this recognition shows that approach is resonating across the industry.”
Scale and product
FIRST.bet was founded by former SBTech leaders and currently powers 75+ operators globally, with more than 35 active in Brazil. Several of those Brazilian partners rank among the country’s top 20 operators by GGR. The business also serves operators across Europe and Africa.
The product suite comprises SportOS, SnapBet and GMFY, delivering a connected sportsbook environment built around trading depth, operator visibility and scalable engagement.
FIRST.bet describes its philosophy as building technology around the conditions operators face every day: high-frequency live betting, complex market conditions and sustained traffic demands.
The company holds licences from the Malta Gaming Authority and the Swedish Gambling Authority, and is GLI-33 certified and ISO-audited.
Growth trajectory
The EGR B2B win arrives as FIRST.bet continues to expand across European and Latin American regulated markets. 6 peer-judged supplier titles across 18 months carries significant weight in commercial conversations, particularly as operators in newly regulated markets evaluate long-term technology partners.
With Brazil’s regulated market still in its early commercial phase and European operators demanding increasingly localised product, FIRST.bet’s dual-region positioning is likely to support further growth in operator partnerships through the remainder of 2026.
