Updated advertising guidelines
In July 2025, Denmark revised its national marketing guidelines for gambling firms.
The updated framework requires advertising to truthfully present players’ winning chances, prohibit targeting minors, and promote gambling solely as a form of entertainment. These revisions aim to enhance consumer protection and transparency in promotional activities.
This ongoing growth highlights Denmark’s dynamic gambling landscape, where digital channels such as online casino and sports betting continue to gain popularity. Operators are encouraged to focus on digital innovation and player protection to meet demand.
Regulators’ active monitoring and updated marketing rules signify a balanced approach to fostering market expansion while ensuring ethical standards.
