The Balkan Entertainment and Gaming Expo is attracting a rising number of iGaming exhibitors for its 2026 edition, as the annual Sofia event enters its 18th year and adapts its format to reflect the industry’s digital shift.
BEGE has been a fixture of the Balkan and European gaming calendar for more than 17 years, bringing together operators, suppliers, technology providers, and regulators from across the region.
Online sector grows
The online gaming segment has posted steady growth in recent years, and an increasing number of digital brands have confirmed their participation in BEGE 2026. Organisers say the trend reflects the broader evolution of the global gaming market.
To accommodate the shift, BEGE will introduce gradual adjustments to its structure. The changes are designed to create stronger opportunities for networking, partnerships, and showcasing innovation across both land-based and online sectors.
Existing exhibitors and long-standing partners will not be impacted. Organisers remain committed to maintaining the event as a meeting point for all sectors of the industry.
What to expect
BEGE draws more than 80 companies spanning the full breadth of the gaming industry, including manufacturers, suppliers, operators, affiliates, payment service providers, and media representatives.
The exhibition runs alongside the Eastern European Gaming Summit, an annual conference covering regulatory and technological developments across the European region. The BEGE Awards ceremony is also scheduled for 25 November, with Vermantia confirmed as general sponsor for a consecutive year.
Looking ahead
As digital brands take on a larger share of the exhibitor floor, BEGE is positioning itself as a platform for both traditional and online-first companies. For suppliers and operators targeting the Balkans and Central Eastern Europe, the November event represents a concentrated opportunity to build regional partnerships and monitor regulatory trends ahead of 2027.
