Altenar has expanded its Brazilian footprint through a partnership with licensed sports betting operator Brasil da Sorte, owned by World Sports Technology do Brasil S.A.
Altenar will supply its fully-managed betting technology to power Brasil da Sorte’s platform. The integration, facilitated through Cometa’s player account management (PAM) platform, equips the operator with customised betting options, risk management tools and comprehensive compliance controls.
Brasil da Sorte completed its first year as a licensed Brazilian operator in 2025, establishing a reputation for secure and responsible betting experiences. The upgrade to Altenar’s sportsbook technology marks a strategic move to support the brand’s next phase of growth in Brazil’s newly regulated market.
Fully-managed sportsbook solution
Altenar’s offering includes high-performance features designed for Brazil’s competitive betting landscape. The fully-managed approach provides operators with advanced technology without requiring extensive in-house technical resources, allowing Brasil da Sorte to focus on market positioning and player acquisition.
The platform delivers customised betting markets tailored to Brazilian player preferences, trusted risk management capabilities that protect operator margins, and compliance tools aligned with Brazilian regulatory requirements.
The sportsbook technology integrates seamlessly with Cometa’s PAM platform, which manages core player account functions including registration, payments, bonuses and responsible gaming controls. This division of responsibilities allows each system to specialise in its core function whilst delivering a unified player experience.
“Our collaboration with Brasil da Sorte marks another important step in our commitment to the Brazilian market,” said Frederico Caputi, Sales Manager at Altenar.
“By integrating our fully-managed sportsbook, we’re equipping the brand with a powerful, modern solution that supports both growth and long-term stability.
“Brazil is an exciting and rapidly evolving landscape, and we’re pleased to provide technology that not only enhances player experience, but also helps operators succeed in a highly competitive regulated environment.”
Strategic milestone for Brasil da Sorte
The partnership represents Brasil da Sorte’s commitment to delivering enhanced player experiences in the Brazilian market. The operator selected Altenar’s technology to support scaling efforts and operational excellence.
Integration through Cometa’s PAM platform enables Brasil da Sorte to leverage Altenar’s sportsbook capabilities within its existing technical infrastructure. The PAM platform serves as the core system managing player accounts, whilst Altenar’s sportsbook handles betting operations.
“Partnering with Altenar is a key step in strengthening our betting offering,” said Fernando Azevedo, CEO at Brasil da Sorte.
“Their technology supports our goal of delivering a secure and engaging platform for our users. With Altenar’s sportsbook, we gain advanced tools and strong operational support to scale effectively and elevate the player experience across Brazil.”
Growing Brazilian presence
The Brasil da Sorte partnership reinforces Altenar’s position as a sportsbook technology provider in Brazil’s regulated market. The deal follows recent expansion efforts including partnerships with Multibet and other Brazilian operators.
Altenar has invested substantially in local presence throughout 2025. The provider opened a São Paulo office, acquired virtual sports certification from Brazilian authorities, and recently hired three core team members—Luana Monje as Sales Executive, Beatriz De Freitas Lorenção as Legal and Regulatory Affairs Associate, and Maria Silvia Sparapan Moral as Contracts and Customer Success Associate.
Brazil represents a key growth market for Altenar within Latin America. The country’s regulated betting market launched in January 2025, creating opportunities for technology providers capable of delivering compliant, scalable solutions.
Latin American expansion
Altenar’s Brazilian partnerships form part of broader Latin American expansion. The provider positions itself as an innovative, scalable technology partner capable of adapting to diverse regulatory environments across the region.
The company’s fully-managed sportsbook model appeals to operators seeking turnkey solutions in newly regulated markets. By handling technical operations, risk management and compliance, Altenar enables operators to focus on customer acquisition and brand development.
Brazil’s betting market presents particular challenges around compliance, with operators required to meet strict regulatory standards whilst competing for market share in Latin America’s largest economy.
The country’s population of over 200 million and strong sports culture create substantial opportunities for operators that can navigate the regulatory landscape effectively.
As Brazil’s regulated market matures, partnerships between established technology providers and local operators will likely continue shaping the competitive landscape. Altenar’s growing client roster demonstrates the provider’s ability to meet operator requirements across different scales and business models.
