The announcement has sparked widespread interest and speculation across the United Arab Emirates and on social media, with many suggesting that the fortunate winner might be an Indian expatriate.

Winner identity partly revealed

The partial name was shared on the UAE Lottery’s official website, in line with its policy of announcing winners’ names using only partial identifiers. The listing appeared under the Lucky Day draw results for October 18, marked with a celebratory “Super Win” design and confetti artwork.

Players familiar with the site quickly noticed the post and began sharing their thoughts online. Many social media users claimed that the name suggested the winner could be from the south Indian state of Kerala, reflecting the large community of Keralite residents—estimated at over one million—living in the UAE.
