  • Tool maps legality, licensing, taxation, and product readiness, with an interactive table and map coming soon
  • Resource debuts publicly ahead of SBC Lisbon 2025, Stand B160, with ongoing updates to add jurisdictions

SOFTSWISS has launched a new Gambling Regulation Directory designed to help operators assess legal frameworks, licensing routes, and compliance requirements across global iGaming markets as of 10 September 2025.

The directory consolidates information on whether gambling is permitted, restricted, or prohibited in each jurisdiction, and flags SOFTSWISS product certifications aligned to local rules. The company will showcase the resource at SBC Lisbon 2025, Stand B160, with iterative updates promised over time.

According to SOFTSWISS, the directory provides a structured overview of land-based and online gambling statuses by country and will feature an interactive regulation table and map in an upcoming release.

Country profiles detail allowed and prohibited activities, applicable taxes and fees, licence durations, and permitted verticals, enabling operators to evaluate opportunities and compliance needs efficiently. Profiles also indicate where SOFTSWISS solutions already meet regulatory requirements, supporting faster market entry.

The launch aligns with sustained demand for compliance tooling amid ongoing rule changes across regulated and emerging markets. With many operators pursuing multi-market strategies, the ability to cross-reference licensing terms and product readiness can accelerate launch timelines and reduce risk.

Olga Resiga, Chief Business Development Officer at SOFTSWISS, said:

“At SOFTSWISS, we provide a trusted foundation for launching and growing iGaming brands. With the introduction of the Gambling Regulation Directory, we stay true to our goal of offering advanced solutions and empowering operators with the knowledge and insights they need to grow responsibly and sustainably in highly regulated markets.

“Building on this commitment, our certified software meets the requirements of multiple national regulators, enabling operators to confidently enter new markets with full compliance.”

Visitors to SBC Lisbon 2025 will be able to explore the directory and discuss regulatory trends with the SOFTSWISS team. The company, which has more than 15 years of iGaming experience and over 2,000 staff across Malta, Poland, and Georgia, offers a portfolio including a casino platform, game aggregator with more than 35,000 titles, an affiliate platform, a sportsbook, and a jackpot tool.
