SEGG Media Corporation, a sports, entertainment, and gaming conglomerate, has announced plans to reenter the US lottery market through its Lottery.com brand.

The company is launching a nationwide lottery rewards program and pursuing official affiliate partnerships with state-operated iLottery programmes in Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Michigan, as part of this strategic reintroduction.

The company emphasised that this move positions Lottery.com as a significant link between state lotteries and digitally focused consumers. SEGG Media aims to help drive responsible player acquisition and increase visibility for state-regulated lottery products.

The reentry coincides with heightened lottery interest, partly fuelled by a $1.3 billion Powerball jackpot, which SEGG Media’s COO Gregory Potts highlighted as an attractor for casual players and new consumers.

According to the company, the rewards programme will offer players exclusive promotions and experiences, while also supporting retailers who distribute lottery tickets. This initiative is designed to create value for all ecosystem participants and is set to roll out in phases starting later in 2025.

“Massive prizes like this week’s Powerball estimated $1.3 billion jackpot bring out the casual players and introduce new consumers to the fun and excitement of lottery games,” said Gregory Potts, COO of SEGG Media.

“As more states adopt iLottery programs, we will use the Lottery.com brand to promote and expand those digital initiatives and increase the community benefits supported through lottery ticket sales across the country. Through our rewards program, SEGG Media will deliver a win-win solution that supports state lotteries, creates more value for players, and drives growth for retailers. We strongly believe our shareholders will see the value in using the Lottery.com brand to support, rather than compete, with local retailers and state lottery associations.”

SEGG Media also noted its commitment to compliance with all applicable regulations and responsible gaming principles as it advances its reintegration. The company projects that its affiliate marketing and rewards programmes will build a modern digital lottery ecosystem that benefits players, retailers, and state lotteries alike.

SEGG Media owns several high-profile digital brands, including Sports.com and Concerts.com, and has recently undergone strategic growth initiatives supported by significant financing aimed at expanding its global footprint.

This reentry into the US lottery market marks a key step in SEGG Media’s broader ambition to innovate in online gaming and entertainment engagement while fostering partnerships with traditional lottery stakeholders.
